SFS Grab Hire is a family-run business in Tonbridge with our own grab lorries and our own licensed recycling yard. We have spent years clearing sites and supplying aggregates across Kent and South East London, and we still answer the phone ourselves.
SFS Grab Hire grew out of years of hands-on work in groundworks and waste, and we are still run the way we started, as a family business. We own our fleet of modern grab lorries, we run our own licensed recycling yard in Tonbridge, and we look after every job ourselves from the first phone call to the final load. There are no middlemen and no call centres. When you ring us, you talk to the people who actually do the work.
Over the years we have built up a name across Kent and South East London for turning up, getting the job done, and leaving the site clean. We work for homeowners clearing a back garden, builders shifting spoil off a plot, and commercial sites that need a steady stream of lorries. Big or small, every job gets the same care.
We trade alongside our sister firm SFS Groundworks, the Tonbridge groundworks and demolition team. Between the two businesses we have the kit, the experience and the local knowledge to clear a site, dig it out, take the muck away and bring back the aggregates and topsoil to finish it off. One family, one yard, and one number to call.
Everything we collect comes back to our own licensed recycling facility in Tonbridge. We sort it, crush it and screen it, then send it back out as recycled aggregate and screened topsoil. Running our own yard means we control the quality, keep prices fair, and keep waste out of landfill. It also means we can supply MOT Type 1, crushed concrete, ballast and topsoil to BS 3882 and subsoil to BS 8601, straight from stock.
